NISM Certification Program
- National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) is an institute created by SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India)
- NISM certifications are professional exams that give knowledge about stock market, mutual funds, investments, and financial services.
Mutual Fund Distributors Certification
- The Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Program has two levels – Level 1 and Level 2, which students must complete within 3 years (6 semesters) during their degree.
- Level 1 classes are conducted in the first 3 semesters, and students must pass the Level 1 exam before they can take Level 2.
- Level 2 classes start from the 4th semester, and students must complete and pass the Level 2 exam by the 6th semester.
- Our college has tied up with an external training agency for this program and Expert trainers will conduct the classes. The certification exam fee will be paid by the students and the amount is ₹1,500.
- This certification helps students learn about stock markets, mutual funds, and financial markets and improves job opportunities in financial institutions like as follows:

- After completing the Mutual Fund Distributors Certification, students can start with a package of around ₹4–8 LPA.
- The certification is valid for 3 years from the date of passing the exam, after which students must renew it by appearing for the exam again or completing the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is a short renewal training program.
- Students must complete a degree (B.Com/BBA) to pursue job opportunities based on the NISM Mutual Fund Distributors Certification and 75% attendance is mandatory to appear for the semester examination.
